Dog bath!

Taki was getting a bit stinky, so mom decided to give her a bath before Thanksgiving. I don't think Taki liked it very much, but I tried to make her feel better by sharing my bath toys with her.

After her bath, she went crazy!! I thought it was super funny. Hopefully, she will smell better after all of this!!! 

 

Washington D.C.

Mom went down to Washington D.C. for the first time to go to a Cushing Alumni event.  She was super excited when she found a Caribou Coffee (her favorite coffee that she hadn't had since Chicago!), so she got a drink and walked down to the White House area.  She had a nice walk downtown and was excited to finally see the White House; she ran out of time to walk around the whole property, but said that she and Daddy will take me sometime so I can see everything with them! I stayed with Kinley and Carter, since Dad was working, and had fun playing with them.

Play date

Kinley and Carter came over to play tonight so their mommy and daddy could go on a date night.  (My mom and dad went on a date night a few nights earlier and I stayed with Kinley and Carter... not sure what's so special about these date nights, but all the grownups seem to like leaving us kids for them!!) We had yummy enchiladas and then watched The Incredibles; Kinley and I even sat still and watched for about 2 minutes! Then Kinley and I got a bath, which was fun because we got to play with my new bath letters and numbers! Thanks for coming over to play!

Swim Swim Swim!

I've been taking swimming lessons again this fall, and though I don't like them quite as much as I did last spring, I still have fun.  Daddy came to watch today and took pictures of me swimming with Mom.  It was one of my better days, as I didn't yell as much as usual, though I still can't remember how to kick my legs like I did last spring... maybe I will remember in a few weeks...

Car Extraction Training

Today, Daddy got to go on a special training where he learned how emergency personnel extract people from cars.  He learned how to remove car doors and roofs, and even got to use the jaws of life. He said that the gear was pretty warm and heavy - it made things a little tougher to do! You can find him in the pictures since he was the only one with a black jacket.

Visit from Brit

Brit came down to see Mom and me this weekend.  She got stuck in MAJOR traffic on her way down, so her ride of 6.5 hours turned into over 8! Needless to say, we were all very happy when she made it.  She brought me a red sox bat and ball and gave me an early Christmas present (you'll see in in the pics).  On Sunday, Brit took me running and then we went shopping while Mom coached; I had lots of fun with her!! Thanks for coming to visit, Brit!! :)

Trick-or-treat!

Halloween in Hershey is so much fun! We started off the season with a "trunk or treat" with the PiM people.  We all met at a park and trick-or-treated from the car trunks.  A few days later Kinley, Carter, and their mom met us at Hershey park; there we got to trick or treat in a special area.  Yesterday, Mom and I carved pumpkins, then went trick-or-treating with Daddy in our neighborhood!  Can i just say how much I love candy?  Candy corn is my favorite!! (shhh... don't tell Dad!)
