Color Sorting

Mom and I took down all of the Christmas decorations today and put them away for next year.  Mom put me in charge of sorting and putting away the plastic Christmas balls.  I was a big help!

I might need a little more practice sorting colors...

Play date with Ben

Today Mom and I went into Philly to visit Ben.  Mom and his mom went to law school together and his Dad is a radiologist; we used to live 2 blocks from them when we lived in Philly. We hadn't see each other for a while, so it was great to visit and play.  He had just gotten a basketball hoop that was super fun to play with (see video).  Looking forward to our next visit!

 

Happy Birthday, Daddy!

Today was Daddy's birthday!  He had to work, which was stinky (I think you should always get your birthday off!), but he was able to get home for dinner.  He requested Shepard's Pie for dinner and mom made him a peanut butter cake with chocolate frosting (it was yummy!). I thought that the cake might catch on fire because there were so many candles, but Daddy managed to blow them all out!  Happy Birthday, Daddy!

A few more presents...

When we got back from our Christmas vacation, Mom and Dad had a few more presents for me! They said that they were too big to bring up, so they saved them as a special surprise.  I got a fun new chair that is just my size and a big fire truck that makes awesome noises!!

Sosinski Visit!

Evelyn, Sam and I were actually all in the same state at the same time, so our parents decided we should all get together.  Sam and Evelyn came down to Gram and D's and we had lots of fun playing! Jess and Jules were supposed to come, too, but they were sick, so we facetimed with them instead (but really missed seeing them in person!)  Thanks for the wonderful gifts, Sam, Evelyn, Jess and Jules! And thanks for coming to visit, Evelyn and Sam!!

Merry Christmas!

Daddy got 5 days off at Christmas, so we got to go celebrate up north.  We were at Babci and Papa's for the first 2 days, then went to Gram and D's for the second 2.  We had a wonderful time!

Cold Cape Cod

 Mom's team had a skating competition on Cape Cod last weekend, so we drove up on Thursday. Gram and D met us at the hotel and we went out to dinner with Doug & Heather; I had only met them once, so it was nice to spend some time with them! The next day I went to a clock shop and the beach with Gram and D and then watched mom's team skate. We were going to drive home on Saturday, but because of the storm, mom decided we would spend the night in Westminster and drive home Sunday. (It took mom's team almost 12 hours to make the 7 hour journey home...mom was glad we didn't take the bus to the competition!) Although I missed Daddy, I got to go swimming and play in the snow, so I didn't mind waiting the extra day too much!
